Wat is het toch leuk om met al die mooie materialen te werken, die allemaal ergens in mijn hobbykamer liggen. Gisteravond heb ik samen met mijn vriendin Connie gewerkt aan een fantastisch leuk project. Connie heeft twee lepels gekocht bij de kringloop en die hebben we gebruikt om er een nestje van te bouwen. Dit idee zag ze op deze fantastische blog: One lucky day. De houten doosjes heb ik bij de wibra gekocht voor € 2,00. Het papier is van K&C. Lag al jaren bij Connie in de kast. Verder nog wat stempelinkt (disstress walnut stain), lint, kant, plastic muzieknoten, nepvogels, nepei, takjes, blaadjes en bloemetjes gebruikt. De steen met tekst komt ook bij de wibra vandaan. het kastje hebben we van binnen en van buiten beplakt met dessinpapier. De lepel is vastgemaakt op een label van karton. Deze hebben we verhoogd in het kastje geplakt, zodat het lijkt of het geheel zweeft. De pootjes zijn helaas wel duur, want die zijn van Tim Holz. Ze maken het project helemaal af. Bovenop hebben we twee uit grijsboard gestanste scallop cirkels (nestabillities geplakt). Gebruik wel je lijmpistool om alles vast te plakken. Wij vinden het project zelf zeer geslaagd. Yesterday evening we had much fun creating this project. My friend Connie bought some spoons at the wellfare store to make a birds nest. She saw this at this incredible blog: One lucky day. I bought the wooden boxes for € 2,00. Inside were really nice ceramic balls. We will use them some other time. We dressed the box up with dessinpaper K & C. Connie had it for years. We used a chipboard label and attached the spoon to it. Making a nest for the bird. The label has some empty ribbon spools behind it, so you think it floats in the air. Finish it up with all kinds of embellishments as ribbon, wood, eggs, flowers, leaves. The box is standing on Tim Holz iron thingies (I don't know the word). On top we edded some folded in half scallop circles made from chipboard with a nestabillitie die. We love the project and hope you do too. Maybe you can leave us a message on this blog.
